This award winning B-17G “Yankee Lady” is the finest example of this type of aircraft still flying in the world today.

The Boeing B-17, nicknamed the “Flying Fortress”, was a long range heavy bomber that was given the task
of destroying enemy war facilities through precision strategic bombardment during World War II.

Today however, it will take us on a ride over Lloyd Neck, New York—the home of Caumsett State Historic Park.
