On a very warm Sunday in July, over 30 hearty Caumsett Foundation members gathered for a walk in the park with environmentalist Bill Monahan as their guide. Mr. Monahan gave a brief overview of the topography of the park and of the flora and fauna to be seen if one took the time to look. As the sun was setting on His presentation was interrupted frequently by questions from members, who were eager to learn as much as possible. The evening ended with wine and cheese on the lawn of the Winter Cottage. Many participants commented on the beauty of the park in the early evening.
This activity was open only to Foundation members.
